Friendship & Networking
Your experience at Surrey is a lot more than just studying. At our socials, we provide an opportunity for you to meet like-minded peers from a range of different degree courses (as well as your own).
We organise bar crawls, activities, fancy dinners and fundraisers (to name a few). Our socials are renowned for being amongst the biggest and best on campus!
Career Prospects
Our range of events will be a springboard for your career; helping you to find the right internship or job. We reach out to some of the most preeminent employers in our industry and invite them to campus to interact with our members.
You will get the opportunity to network exclusively with some of the biggest names in the finance industry and learn how to maximise your chances of landing your dream job after graduation.
Learning
We take economics and finance beyond the lecture theatre. Through our speaker events, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with professionals from government and industry, and gain real-world context on how economics and finance shape our daily lives.
You will also have the opportunity to put yourselves in the shoes of financiers and economists through professionally run simulation days and workshops which we run throughout the year.
